Genelec DSP Monitoring Systems

Since 1978, we provided tools in our products to assist in improving the acoustic integration of the monitoring loudspeaker into real-world working environments. Genelec has always measured, analyzed and calibrated its monitoring systems in its own testing chambers as well as customers’ working environments. The acoustic performance advances made in developing the 8000 MDE™ and 7000 LSE™ Series products have been essential in taking the next step into the digital world with the 8200, 7200, and SE™ DSP monitoring systems.

Genelec SE™ DSP System

The Genelec SE™ (Small Environments) DSP System brings a new approach to solving acoustic issues with small recording and mixing environments. Small production rooms beg for sensible solutions in monitoring. The SE™ DSP System brings an outstanding, easy to use and affordable solution. The system utilizes the SE7261A DSP subwoofer which provides all network connections and DSP resources, 8130A's digital input active monitors and the dedicated GLM.SE™ (for Small Environments) software featuring AutoCal™ (PC/Windows XP).

TEC Award winner 2007Genelec 8200 and 7200 DSP Systems

The most critical listening conditions require the most advanced monitoring tools. The 8200 & 7200 DSP Systems features the acclaimed MDE™ and LSE™ enclosure designs, the advanced DCW™ waveguide and highly efficient reflex port technology. Consistency, ease of use and the innate ability to adapt to the acoustic environment is ensured by AutoCal™, a built-in property of the versatile GLM™ software. The Genelec DSP Systems won the TEC Award 2007.

The Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) software provides necessary control of all loudspeakers and subwoofer on the network via standard CAT5 cabling. All functions and settings are stored in custom user setups or directly into each loudspeaker. AutoCal is an automated algorithm that runs within GLM™ using a calibrated Genelec measurement microphone which sets correctly levels, distance, delays, phase (for subwoofers) and room response equalization which features SinglePoint™ and MultiPoint™ microphone locations for one, two or three-person mixing environments.

Genelec AD9200A A/D Converter

Access to the benefits of Genelec’s DSP and SE™ DSP monitoring systems is made easier than ever with the AD9200A Analog to Digital converter. The Genelec AD9200A allows using the 7200 Series DSP AD9200Asubwoofers with analog signal sources. With an eight-channel balanced analog input delivered via a 25-pin DB25 connector the converter outputs on four XLR connectors AES3 format with 24 bit word length and 192 kHz sample rate.
