Genelec wins TEC Award 2008 for its SE™ DSP System
Genelec is proud to receive this year’s TEC Award for outstanding achievement in professional audio product design in the category 'Studio Monitor Technology' for its SE™ DSP System.The award is given by the Mix Foundation and is a result of a voting process involving over tens of thousands of audio industry professionals. Award ceremonies were held on Friday October 3 at the Westin St. Francis in San Fransisco.
The SE™ DSP Monitoring System offers Genelec’s outstanding quality of performance in an affordable and easy-to-use package and is ideal for near field monitoring, mobile vans, digital audio workstations, broadcast and TV control rooms, surround sound systems, home studios and multimedia applications.
Genelec SE™ (Small Environment) DSP System consists of the new 10-inch SE7261A active DSP subwoofer and up to eight 8130A 5-inch digital biamped monitors.Software control is reassuringly simple with the SE7261A DSP subwoofer providing all necessary network connections to the host computer and supplying extensive DSP resources through its high-pass AES digital outputs to the 8130A.
Using GLM.SE™ software that includes Genelec AutoCal™ technology, the SE™ DSP System provides accurate acoustical integration of all loudspeakers into small listening environments. Genelec’s DSP technology with AutoCal - Automatic Calibration system - is by far the most advanced solution in studio monitor technology today.
