Genelec at the West L.A. Music Annual Recording Expo
LOS ANGELES – West L.A. Music’s 2010 Recording Expo is slated for Saturday and Sunday, November 13th and 14th. The event includes exhibits by leading recording equipment manufacturers, featuring the latest recording technology and products! Genelec will be showcasing from our active loudspeaker portfolio the 8260A 3-way DSP monitoring system, 8240A 2-way DSP systems and the 6010A / 5040A desktop loudspeaker system at the recording expo.
Workshops and seminars are planned by top artists, and noted industry professionals, including Grammy and Emmy winning songwriters, composers, engineers and producers. A keynote address will be presented by the legendary audio pioneer Rupert Neve.
The latest recording hardware and software will be presented with special exhibits, presentations and training sessions featuring the latest recording platforms and 3rd party applications and plug-ins.
The Recording Expo will be held in West Los Angeles with product exhibits and seminars at West L.A. Music’s Santa Monica Blvd. location, as well as the adjacent Los Angeles Recreation Center and the world famous Village Studios. The Recording Expo is the largest independent consumer music products show in Southern California.
Last year, the Recording Expo drew thousands of producers, engineers, composers, educators, celebrities and world-class musicians for two days of seminars and exhibits by the industry’s leading manufacturers. Key speakers included, multi-platinum producer Michael Lloyd, Emmy Award winning composer Charles Bernstein, multi-platinum producer and engineer Val Garay, and Allen Sides, owner of the famed Oceanway Recording in Hollywood.
