The Audio Department, a leading New York City audio post-production facility for over 25 years, recently added video editing to its array of services. The new video suite, equipped with an Avid Adrenaline digital editing system, was brought on line earlier this year.

This award has become the 'Grammy' of the Musical Instrument and Pro Audio industries. Fifty-eight music press magazine from all over the globe cast their vote to make Genelec winner of the category.

J Walter Thompson, one of the world’s foremost advertising agencies, has opened a new four-suite audio production and post-production complex on the third floor of its Manhattan headquarters. The new complex replaces three audio suites previously housed on the building’s second floor; in this new facility as with the previous one, the agency that helped define the phrase "Madison Avenue" remains an all-Genelec monitoring facility.

19 new studios, control rooms and edit suites all utilize Genelec 8020A, 8030A and 8040A monitoring systems with 7050B and 7060A active subwoofers, joining an array of Genelec 1030A and S30D monitoring systems in the original broadcast facility complex.
