Cedia 2004 New FinishesGenelec Home Theater Sound Systems, has expanded its line of home theater products with the addition of new finishes. The HT206B, HT208B, and HT210B are now available in Natural Birch, Light Cherry and Dark Cherry finishes. The HT205 is also now available in White, Black, and Silver. This new selection of finishes comes complete with a stylish, integrated grille. The original Producer Black finish remains the standard color for all HT models.

HCC awardGenelec are delighted to have won the Home Cinema Choice Magazine Awards 'Oscar' for the best high-end home theatre speaker system. The award from Home Cinema Choice went to the active HT208/HTS4 system at the ninth annual award ceremony in London in March, sponsored by Dolby Laboratories. This gong-fest is considered by many to be the most prestigious of home theatre system awards.

Cedia domeAt the International Builders Show in Las Vegas, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) unveiled to the world a traveling display, the "CEDIA Dome," with the sole purpose of educating professionals about the custom electronic lifestyle and the role CEDIA members play in the development of this exciting industry. On board was Genelec as the premiere loudspeaker sponsor for this landmark traveling exhibit. Genelec worked closely with CEDIA as well as Overland Park, Kansas-based Technology Visions, who provided the audio/video system design, technology recommendations and overall technical sub-systems supervision to this unique project. A wide selection of Genelec Active Monitors and Subwoofers was employed.
