GENELEC SUPPLIES ITS ACTIVE MONITORS AND SUBWOOFERS FOR TRAVELING CEDIA DOME
At the January 19-24, 2004 International Builders Show in Las Vegas, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) unveiled to the world a traveling display, the "CEDIA Dome," with the sole purpose of educating professionals about the custom electronic lifestyle and the role CEDIA members play in the development of this exciting industry. On board was Genelec as the premiere loudspeaker sponsor for this landmark traveling exhibit. Genelec worked closely with CEDIA as well as Overland Park, Kansas-based Technology Visions, who provided the audio/video system design, technology recommendations and overall technical sub-systems supervision to this unique project. A wide selection of Genelec Active Monitors and Subwoofers was employed.
Loaded with a myriad of cutting-edge electronics from plasma screens to state-of-the-art audio systems, the CEDIA Dome continues to provide a fully automated presentation on the pivotal role CEDIA members play in bringing the world of custom electronics to life. Acclaimed for its stunning audio and visual presentations, for the better part of this year, the CEDIA Dome has been on display at such leading events as: the Integrated Systems Europe show held in Geneva, Switzerland; the American Institute of Architects, Chicago, Illinois; and finally at this CEDIA Expo 2004 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Commenting on Genelec's involvement with the CEDIA Dome, Karen Richardson, Genelec National Sales Manager, stated, "The CEDIA Dome has been the perfect venue to showcase our next generation of Home Theater, as well as how these high-quality products are able to enhance the electronics lifestyle. We're extremely proud to have been chosen to participate in this distinguished event."
