Genelec Joins Runco, Stewart Filmscreen and ConneXtion Systems at the Regional CEDIA Education Program in Stamford, CT
For the first time, the CEDIA Regional program includes active demonstrations and free product training from manufacturers. Genelec is pleased to join Stewart Filmscreen, Runco and ConneXtion Systems to present the "Elite Home Theater" at the Regional CEDIA in Stamford, CT May 16th and 17th. You'll find the system in continuous demonstration at the Pavilion Room. This event is open to industry professionals only. Genelec will also present two classroom sessions for current and prospective dealers. There is no charge for any of the manufacturer's training, but you must register if you plan to attend.
You'll be able to hear a Genelec 7.1 Home Theater Sound System featuring the legendary model 1037s and the 1038BC center channel. Genelec monitors have long been the "Gold Standard" in recording studios around the world, including Sony Music, The Hit Factory, Right Track Studios and Circle House. Nearly every DVD mix from New Line Cinema is done on Genelec, including the award-winning Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Musicians as diverse as Alison Krauss, Aerosmith and Barbra Streisand have their CDs engineered on Genelec monitors.
Genelec classes will meet at the following times:
Monday, May 16, Grand Ballroom, Salon E 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 17, Grand Ballroom, Salon F 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Our class will be an introduction to Genelec's active speaker technology, the DCW™ (Directivity Control Waveguide) and the Acoustic Room Response Controls unique to each Genelec model. This course will serve as an overview of all products including bi-amp, tri-amp, large monitor systems and subwoofers. We'll discuss the design of high performance theaters including speaker selection, placement, and room acoustics.
